Cycling for Dummies :D

Well, not to say that any of you are dummies, but Cycling for Dummies is in the works. It's a mini-guide for fish-in cycling, because I know from experience how cruddy a lot of information about cycling is. This guide will include an explanation of what the Cycling process is, what it does, how to keep your cycle going and of course... Water changes!

Water changes in a cycling tank are always a nervous thing, and there's not a lot of clear information out there on what to do. I'll have what to do and when to do it and what you'll need- so no fretting! Cycling is great and totally worth doing.

Fin Rot 101 is still in the works, and pictures of rot are always helpful, if you have any to give. Check it out, though right now, only Mild Fin Rot has been covered. (I know, booo. I'm working on it! ;D )

And as a fish update, Balthier has got a pretty serious case of fin rot, one that is resisting salt treatments. Just goes to show that even in ideal care, fish do get sick! He's being treated with Maracyn I and II, and of course, lots of love.

Thanks for all the visits, everyone. Keep 'em coming, heh! I hope to finally get these two things finished already! ;)
